Kamigumi named digital transformation certified operator by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry

On September 1, 2023, Kamigumi Co., Ltd. ("Kamigumi" hereinafter) was certified as a DX-certified operator under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan's Digital Transformation (DX) Certification initiative. The DX certification initiative recognizes DX-ready companies prepared to transform their businesses through digital technologies, in line with guidelines established by the Japanese government.

The Kamigumi Group is striving to enhance its business infrastructures and improve customer satisfaction (CS) in line with Strengthening Business through DX, a key strategy identified in its Medium-Term Management Plan for the period through the fiscal year ending March 2025.
Spurred by this certification, Kamigumi plans to promote further DX initiatives in its harbor and inland logistics infrastructure; build on global competitive strengths; and accelerate efforts to develop DX and IT human resources and realize sustainable worksites. We will also strive to deliver personalized services that harness data analysis, AI, and other technologies to deliver the best customer experience.
Moving forward, as a group whose activities support key social infrastructures represented by ports and harbors, the Group will contribute to solving social issues through promoting DX and aim to further increase corporate value.
