Kamigumi to rebuild warehouse in Nanko area

Kamigumi has decided to rebuild the Nanko R Warehouse in the Nanko area (Osaka City).

Kamigumi operates fixed-temperature warehouses in three areas (Nanko, Izumiotsu, and Rinku) in Osaka Prefecture. The volumes of food products, grains, and similar cargo handled in the Nanko area have grown dramatically in recent years, and demand is expected to continue growing in the future.
Kamigumi plans to rebuild this warehouse to reliably cope with growing demand for such cargo and to ensure steady service provision for its customers. Plans call for operations to begin once rebuilding work is complete in February 2024.

With its central location in the Port of Osaka, the Nanko R Warehouse offers a high level of convenience due to its proximity to major container terminals and interchanges on the Wangan Routes of the Hanshin Expressway. By streamlining operations that currently involve cargo stored at three areas, the expansion of storage capacity as a result of the rebuilding will allow the warehouse to provide services of even higher quality meeting customer needs.

Solar panels on the roof will supply a portion of the electric power used by the rebuilt warehouse. In this and other ways, through eco-friendly facilities, Kamigumi is seeking to contribute to a sustainable society. Kamigumi plans to implement other timely and diverse measures in the future.
