Construction completed on Shiomi Motor Pool

On February 5, Kamigumi completed construction on the Shiomi Motor Pool at Shiomi Pier in the Port of Nagoya (Nagoya City, Aichi). The facility has the capacity to store approximately 1,100 vehicles.

As noted in the previous News Release, "Construction of Shiomi Motor Pool (Tentative Name)" (December 9, 2020), the site of the Shiomi Motor Pool is located within the Port of Nagoya and close to the Meiko Shiomi IC on the Isewangan Expressway, connecting to both the Shin-Meishin Expressway and Shin-Tomei Expressway. This location offers significant convenience for companies shipping new vehicles either by sea or by land.

The completion of the Shiomi Motor Pool underscores Kamigumi's ongoing efforts to improve operating efficiency and service quality and to boost the profitability of its automobile handling business, considered an important business for Kamigumi.
