Kamigumi Completes Construction of Tobishima Warehouse Complex
Kamigumi has completed construction on its Tobishima Warehouse Complex, which features an attached packaging plant, on Tobishima Pier at the Port of Nagoya.
Kamigumi has a number of warehouses and packaging plants inside the port, making secondary transportation necessary for container loading and packaging work. Kamigumi will now consolidate its facilities after the new warehouse begins operations. This will make it possible to carry out packaging and container loading work at the same facility, resulting in improved costs and logistics quality.
In addition, the new warehouse is located on Tobishima Pier, the largest container terminal in the Port of Nagoya, which will enable Kamigumi to provide even more agile and high grade logistics services, which includes reducing the transit time of export/import containers.
