Completion of Mito Motor Pool

Kamigumi has completed construction of the Mito Motor Pool with a capacity to house 4,500 vehicles (includes some for new vehicle preparation) in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture.

Kamigumi has been contracted by Mercedes-Benz Japan Co., Ltd. (MBJ) for new vehicle preparation and other related operations for Mercedes-Benz and smart vehicles. These services are being provided by our subsidiary MB Service Japan Co., Ltd. (Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture) along with our Toyokawa Branch (Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture). Following the increase in the number of new vehicles sold by MBJ, we have newly constructed the Mito Motor Pool.

Kamigumi has been contracted by MBJ to carry out these services since 2014 and currently Kamigumi handles all the new vehicles MBJ imports into Japan. With the completion of this motor pool, Kamigumi will be able to deliver even higher value-added services through efficient operations linked with our existing facilities.
