On March 25, 2017, Kamigumi Co., Ltd. held a construction completion ceremony for its Hachinohe Controlled-Temperature Logistics Center, and commenced business at the center on the same day. After its construction in the Toyosu area of Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, the center is now equipped with controlled-temperature and fumigation functions.

At the center, Kamigumi will endeavor to expand on its handling of food cargo in the Tohoku Region and develop its business in the region with a particular focus on handling rice, which is anticipated to experience future growth in demand.

Moreover, following the completion of the Hachinohe Controlled-Temperature Logistics Center, Kamigumi has also opened the Hachinohe Sub Branch. Together with the company's Sendai Sub Branch that it opened in 2009, the Hachinohe Sub Branch will work on enhancing and reinforcing the organization of Kamigumi as another of its main bases of operation in the Tohoku Region.

In the future, the company will continue to provide "Kamigumi-Designed Logistics" tailored to the logistics needs of each of its customers and strive to expand its operations.
